The Art of Kintsugi: From Broken to Beautiful
Saturday, February 22, 4:00PM

Kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold, celebrates the beauty in resilience and transformation. Instead of hiding cracks, this art form highlights them, turning flaws into features that add unique value. In this hands-on module, participants will learn how Kintsugi is a powerful metaphor for life: our struggles, scars, and setbacks are not signs of weakness, but of growth. Each fracture we endure contributes to our story, making us more whole and more beautiful than before.

As an art therapy practice, Kintsugi offers a mindful way to honor our personal and professional challenges—whether in relationships, health, or career. By piecing fragments together, we learn to see life’s setbacks as opportunities to rebuild stronger and with purpose. This can also be applied to working with patients and helping them through chronic health conditions and helping them appreciate their resilience in their healing journey.
Through the actual process of repairing a broken object into a beautiful restored piece, participants will be reminded and discover at the end of this workshop that true beauty often lies in our imperfections, encouraging us to embrace every crack as part of a journey that ultimately shapes us into something remarkable.

Josh Jones & Janel Calinog
Morning Yoga
Sunday, February 23, 8:00AM

Experience a full body flow and explore fundamental principles of Vinyasa-style yoga through postures designed to strengthen, balance and detoxify by way of connected breath.

We’ll ground and integrate into our mats first with thoughtful intention before linking breath to movement at a moderate and intuitive pace, then end with a 15-minute cool-down sure to create a harmonious mind-body connection. We’ll offer modifications and hands-on, verbal and demonstrational assists with consent along the way. We intend for these 60 minutes to be your own self-love practice, and believe a powerful pathway to healing lies in moving together in community and uplifting each other.

Josh and Janel completed their yoga teacher training together and have remained good friends ever since.
Josh's belief in the transformative power of yoga stems from his personal experience. He believes strongly that mindful breath and movement can retrain our nervous systems. Specializing in vinyasa yoga, he strives to bring a balance of energetic flow followed by restorative grounding in his classes.
Janel’s love for movement began early on and yoga allows her to express her inner child by connecting mind, body and spirit. Her teaching mission is to ground in compassionate connection, and her vinyasa classes aim to provide students a space where they can meet their bodies with gratitude, honor their inner truth, and return to breath with mindful intention while practicing safe alignment.

Dr. Jaime Rabin, DAOM
Intentional Design & Feng Shui
Sunday, February 23, 9:30AM

We spend 90% of our lives indoors, with over half of our waking hours in our homes. By tuning into what we see, feel, and experience daily in these spaces, we can unlock a powerful tool for personal transformation.
This module will cover three core areas:
-
Cleansing and Clearing: We’ll explore the art of unblocking energy to unlock space. This involves both personal energetic cleansing and extending this practice to your home environment. Through guided visualization, you’ll walk through each room in your home, learning techniques to cleanse spaces remotely. We often carry around energy, emotions, and attachments that no longer serve us, which we unknowingly bring into our homes. This cycle of interaction shapes both our environment and ourselves.
-
Manifesting the New: Discover how to use your home as a 3D vision board. Even while away from home, you can start envisioning the life you want to create. We’ll discuss how specific areas in your home can align with your goals and how to activate these spaces, transforming your home into a sanctuary that supports your aspirations.
-
Self-Discovery for Self-Expression: This section is rooted in the five elements and includes a quiz to reveal your Feng Shui personality type. You’ll learn which element resonates most with you and how incorporating it into your life can foster greater self-expression.

Culinary Coaching: Less Focus on What You Eat and More on That You Make It
Sunday, February 23, 11:30AM
Join Sheila to explore how culinary coaching can transform your relationship with food by emphasizing the joy and creativity of cooking at home, and reinforcing the concept of food as medicine. Culinary coaching helps overcome barriers like time, confidence, and knowledge, enabling individuals to break free from restrictive diets, yo-yo eating patterns, and an overly rigid focus on “eating healthy” while discovering the satisfaction of making meals themselves.
This approach fosters better health, reduces reliance on processed foods, and nurtures mental well-being by turning cooking into an enjoyable, sustainable habit rather than another chore on your to-do list.
You’ll have the opportunity to put your new knowledge into action with a series of engaging and hands-on activities:
-
Personal Kitchen Assessment: Identify barriers in your cooking routine, set achievable culinary goals, and build your own personalized staple ingredient list.
-
Flavor Pairing Adventure: Explore food therapy through unexpected flavor combinations with a fun tasting exercise to inspire creativity and broaden your palate.
-
Creative Food Challenges: Brainstorm quick and exciting meal ideas using common leftover items, turning everyday ingredients into culinary masterpieces.
-
Repurposing in Action: Discover innovative ways to transform leftover and surplus ingredients into delicious, sustainable dishes.
